ABOUT TELEMUTES THE MOVIE: Teleportation changed the game - no traffic, no borders, way less pollution. But there’s a glitch - when two living things beam together they come out as one. Most die. The survivors are TELEMUTES - freakish human-animal hybrids hunted by specialist cops called Beamers.

When a veteran Beamer with a personal vendetta against Telemutes is paired with a rookie on a mission to protect them, they uncover a criminal network exploiting Telemutes - and a sinister plan that could decide who, or what, controls Earth’s future.

Always Teleport Alone

WHY WOULD SOMEONE BECOME A TELEMUTE?
There are a few reasons:
  1. People desperate for a fresh start and willing to take the plunge.
  2. Patients with telemutopia. (An obsession to teleport with another other living organism).
  3. Most Telemutes happen because of accidents, coercion, or mental health issues.
  4. Criminals have been known to attempt telemutation to change their identity or DNA.
  5. Those obsessed with being unique because some Telemutes come out of the gate with next-level capabilities.

FAQ

WHAT IS A TELEMUTE?
When two living organisms teleport together their molecules merge during rematerialisation into a single genetic code, creating a mutated form called a Telemute.
IS TELEMUTATION DANGEROUS?
Absolutely! Most Telemutes don't survive the process. Those that do often have severe disabilities, poor brain function, and short lifespans, and end up euthanised by Beamers.
IS TELEMUTATION AGAINST THE LAW?
Uh… yeah, in case you haven’t noticed, this whole thing is super dangerous. Most attempts? Fatal. There's also concern that Telemutes could end up with some crazy diseases that are seriously bad news for humans.
HOW COME CLOTHES AND JEWELLERY DON'T FUSE WITH THE BODY DURING TELEPORTATION?
Biological and non-biological matter are sequenced differently, so they remain separate and don't merge during rematerialisation.
ARE ALL TELEMUTES THE SAME?
Nope, not even close. Quantum entanglement is a wild ride. There are several classes of Telemutes, that in general fit into five core categories:
  • Meatballs: Yeah, you guessed it – they’re immobile, fully blended, and super unrecognizable. 99.9% dead on arrival, and gross.
  • Hybrids: Not fully formed. You’ll see both hosts in the new form, but they’re often disabled. Sometimes they keep human emotions and intelligence, but still, 70% DOA.
  • Morphs (aka: Merges): Fully formed but usually disabled. Barely recognizable. They rarely keep full human emotions or intelligence. 70% dead on arrival.
  • Sentients: Perfect morphs with all the feels. They look almost alien and some have cool abilities that can outshine humans. Very rare and totally boss.
  • Kysapiens: Classified - Top Secret. Government clearance required. Sorry!
ARE YOU AGAINST THE USE OF ANIMALS FOR TESTING?
Let's be clear: We're 100% against anyone using animals for testing. Full stop. And yes that includes all of you risking animals lives to make Telemutes. We see you!
